习近平说，我们要扎实推进“一国两制”实践和祖国统一大业。推进强国建设，离不开香港、澳门长期繁荣稳定。要全面准确、坚定不移贯彻“一国两制”、“港人治港”、“澳人治澳”、高度自治的方针，坚持依法治港治澳，支持香港、澳门特别行政区发展经济、改善民生，更好融入国家发展大局。实现祖国完全统一是全体中华儿女的共同愿望，是民族复兴的题中之义。要贯彻新时代党解决台湾问题的总体方略，坚持一个中国原则和“九二共识”，积极促进两岸关系和平发展，坚决反对外部势力干涉和“台独”分裂活动，坚定不移推进祖国统一进程。

The long-term prosperity and stability of Hong Kong and Macao are indispensable for promoting the construction of a powerful country. We should fully, accurately and unswervingly implement the principles of "one country, two systems", "Hong Kong people governing Hong Kong", "Macao people governing Macao" and a high degree of autonomy, adhere to the rule of law governing Hong Kong and Macao, support the development of the economy and improve people's livelihood of the Hong Kong and Macao Special Administrative Regions, and better integrate into the overall development of the country. Realizing the complete reunification of the motherland is the common aspiration of all Chinese people and the essence of national rejuvenation. We should implement the overall strategy of the New Era Party to solve the Taiwan issue, adhere to the one-China principle and the 1992 Consensus, actively promote the peaceful development of cross-Straits relations, resolutely oppose the interference of external forces and the separatist activities of "Taiwan independence", and unswervingly promote the process of reunification of the motherland.
